Active Elements - Paint Strip is an effective non-hazardous paint and sealer remover for both solvent and water based materials. Most important, Active Elements - Paint Strip is NOT Flammable, NOT Combustible and safe for use indoors and outdoors.

Active Elements - Paint Strip will remove paint, sealers and light adhesives (water and solvent based).

 

Application Methods

Using a brush, roller or pump sprayer, apply enough Active Elements - Paint Strip to completely wet the surface of the area to be stripped. Test every 10 minutes to check if the material is lifting off the concrete.   If the coating does not remove easily allow more time for Active Elements - Paint Strip to soak in and loosen the coating. If areas begin to dry apply additional material to keep the surface wet. It can also be helpful to keep Active Elements - Paint Strip wet and active by covering it with plastic sheeting.

 

Coverage – 100-200 Square Feet Per Gallon

Rate of coverage can vary dramatically due to specific situations. Conditions which reduce the coverage rate are: high temperature, low humidity, rough surfaces, and excessive material application.

 

Clean Up

Using a squeegee and/or wet vacuum collect and dispose of residue.

After removing the residue, spray a liberal amount of Active Elements - Degrease on the floor and scrub.

For interior floors, use a floor machine (buffer) with a nylon bristle brush, black pad or sanding screen. For Exterior surfaces, use a pressure washer. This process is imperative to remove residual oils and debris that may inhibit the ability of stain to react or penetrate.

Dispose of waste in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

 

Safety

Do not breathe vapors. When using in confined or limited ventilation areas, use appropriate respirator to protect against breathing vapors. Avoid contact with skin; wear protective gloves and clothing. Always use eye protection such as goggles, face shield or safety glasses. Read Material Safety Data Sheet before using.

 

First Aid

Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. Seek medical attention.

Skin Contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Wipe excess from skin and wash with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.

Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air and provide oxygen if breathing is difficult. Seek medical attention.

 

Warranty

This warranty is made in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied. Before application the User shall determine the suitability of the product for his/her intended use and User assumes all risks and liabilities whatsoever in connection therewith. Neither seller nor manufacturer has any knowledge or control concerning the purchaser’s use of this product and no warranty is made as to the results of any use. The Manufacturer and/or Seller warrants that if any goods supplied prove defective in material the sole obligation shall be to replace said product. Any claim of defective product must be received in writing within one (1) year from date of shipment. Neither Manufacturer nor Seller shall assume any liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from use of this product.
